Isaiah Menning ‘24
Isaiah is a member of the Class of 2024 from Salt Lake City, Utah. He is majoring in Biology and Environmental Studies. When not writing or editing for the Apologia, Isaiah enjoys contributing opinions for The Dartmouth, completing biology research, and wolf-watching in Yellowstone National Park. He hopes to one day see a coywolf in New England.
Aleksa Sotirov is a member of the Class of 2026 from Belgrade, Serbia. He is majoring in Linguistics and Classical Languages. At Dartmouth, Aleksa enjoys acting Shakespeare, singing in dead languages, and teaching Russian to terrified freshmen. When among his own people, he is partial to baking, attending the theatre, and petting his cats (pictured).

Drew Whitley is member of the class of 2023 from Lexington, Kentucky. He is pursuing majors in religion and Middle Eastern studies. When he’s not editing for the Apologia or writing his thesis on deathbed speeches in the Bible, Drew likes to run, climb, bike, ski, hike, listen to folk music, and play board games.

Blake is a philosophy major, math minor from Arkansas. He is writing his senior thesis on “existence,” and whether or not there are different ways in which something can exist. Blake enjoys board games and other stuff.
Annie Ballard ’24
Annie is a member of the Class of 2024 from Atlanta, Georgia. She is majoring in Earth Sciences with a minor in Religion. When not writing or editing for the Apologia, Annie spends her free time volunteering as a Student Director and mentor for DCSI’s Outdoor Leadership Experience for kids, running and hiking in the North Carolina and New Hampshire mountains, and reading Bob Goff’s books.
Jack is a member of the Class of 2025 from Denver, Colorado. He is majoring in a combination of Philosophy, Economics and Government. When not writing or editing for the Apologia, Jack likes to adventure in the great outdoors, learn about blockchain tech, and read Dostoevsky.

When not editing for The Apologia, he enjoys working with the Dartmouth Ski Patrol and learning about our renewable energy future with the Dartmouth Energy Alliance.
